Than Sadet
On the east coast, a waterfall in the national park, with forest around it. A longer ride from Hin Kong, through the hills.
The walk
A path follows the stream up from the beach. The first pools are a walk. The carved boulders further up are a longer trek, and a local guide is the sure way to find them.
The view
Forest, river pools, and the names of Thai kings cut into the rocks, including Rama V.
Best time
When the stream is running, in and just after the wetter months. In the dry months the pools are shallow. The national park collects an entrance ticket.
